About Us

Athens born designer Beatrice Markatos was always fascinated about alternative materials and making pieces with her own hands which fueled her appreciation for great craftsmanship and gave rise to a desire to create, build and share her vision through a jewellery brand.

Her homonymous brand was founded in 2015 in London and its style is expressed in the extraordinary originality of its visual imagery which tampers with classic aesthetics mixing materials in an unconventional and experiential way. Living and working between London and Athens, Beatrice designs and hand makes all her pieces in her studios.

The designer draws influence from the complexity of the environments around her and crafts timeless jewels of unexpected uniqueness and emotional reverence.

“I was always interested in the process of making things, I don’t have typical collections with stories of them. I focus more on the story and meaning with every piece I make. I have my own story behind every design, but I craft it in a way that customers can find theirs and engage with them in a unique way”.

Being in the middle ground between the organic and the structured, designer Beatrice Markatos has an experiential approach in her art and she crafts her statement pieces in ways that each customer can relate to their own way. Serving to complement and enhance without being overbearing, these statement pieces can also be personalised upon request.
